It Finally Came Today

Categories: randomness, technology

On my way home from class, I found an orange piece of paper the size of a movie ticket stub in my mailbox. An orange piece of paper signifies a UPS or FedEx package is ready for pick up at the front desk. From the size of the package, I knew instantly what was inside.

I signed for my package, rushed to my room, and dropped my backpack to the floor to unveil the contents in the box. Next I tore the cardboard box the same way a small child would as if it was his/her first Christmas gift - quick and without much care. Cardboard pieces were scattered around the floor.

While pushing the styrofoam packaging material to the side, I saw the yellow box with Nikon branded in black. At that moment, I couldn’t help but smile. Inside the yellow box was my new Nikon D80 SLR Camera.

Kshitiz Anand of HappyHorizons’ and James Pierce were kind enough to let me go on several photo shoots to demonstrate photography lighting techniques.
